the process

listed below are the 4 stages of the client order proces

1. Consultation and Client Order Creation

A meeting will be arranged between the client and a representative of UrbanVelvet Ltd. To discuss the issues involved in the development of the clients web site. After the consultation, a document will be drawn up (Client Order) outlining the development of the web site and breakdown of the costs involved. This document will list the number of pages required including extra coding and any hosting costs if applicable. I rough guide to time scales will also be included in this document.
In essence this will be a classed as a full quotation for the work to be carried out.

Any amendments to this document must be put forward by the client and a new document drawn up.
If the client agrees to the outlined proposals listed in this document and the price quoted, the client must sign and date the document before progressing to stage 2.
By signing the document the client agrees to the terms and conditions of urbanvelvet with regard to web development and domain hosting if applicable.

2. Issuing of Invoice and Initail Deposit

After completion of stage 1, UrbanVelvet will commence the Client Order Process.
Part 1 of the client order process will be the creation on an invoice for the full work to be carried out by urbanvelvet outlined in the quotation document from stage 1. Dependant on the full cost of the invoice, a payment plan and timeframe will be drawn up.
A deposit will be required before any development of the web site can commence.
The deposit will depend on the cost of the web development:

For orders under £1000.00 an initial deposit of 50% will be required.
Orders over £1000.00 the deposit will be 33.33%.
Any hosting charges (if applicable) will also have to be paid before commencing stage 3.

3. Web Development and Beta Pages Uploaded

UrbanVelvet Ltd. will design and create the ‘Beta Pages’ and make available online for the client to inspect. These pages are intended to represent the final web site in layout and design.

Changes can be made to the layout at this point upon agreement of both the client and UrbanVelvet Ltd.
If UrbanVelvet do not hear from the client with in 5 working days from the date of the ‘Beta Pages’ being made available, UrbanVelvet will assume that no amendments are deemed necessary.
At this point further payment may be due depending on the total cost of development.
For orders over £1000.00 a second payment of 33.33% of the development costs will be due at this point and must be received before progressing to stage 4.

4. Final Pages Uploaded

After agreement has been reached the ‘Final Pages’ will be uploaded to the arranged URL and the web site will be deemed ‘Live’.
Any outstanding payments will now be due.

Additional Development

After the web site is deemed ‘Live’, any addition work will fall outside this client agreement and a new client agreement must be created with new costs and time frames.
